At their face value, filter bags come with a nominal filtration rating, meaning they are not as restrictive, and will only eliminate up to 98% of all the suspended solids in a flow. Filter bags are therefore an ideal choice when used as a pre-filter, or in non-critical applications where only the bulk of the solids have to be eliminated.
